About Me

When I was 11 I knew that I wanted to immerse myself in journalism. I loved the idea of being able to help tell other people’s stories

Thanks to work experience opportunities I fell in love with the audio experience and completed a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

But I ended up in newspaper journalism, and while I loved the work I did, the desire to have an audio project never wavered.

I launched my first podcast, kind of by accident and with no plan, in 2015.

But as I said there was no plan, and so I let my podcast fade into obscurity (but not before I achieved New & Noteworthy on iTunes).

Life carried on, I started a role in communications in the health space.

But there was still something missing.

I love podcasts, I’ve been listening to them since 2008, and knew that I wasn’t yet done in that space.

Last year I launched two podcasts, I’ve learned a lot, the biggest being was that I could help others in this space.

Give me a topic and I come up with podcast ideas, not just episodes but also offers - my #1 strength is Input and in Human Design I’m a Projector - I have lots of advice I want to share!

When someone else has belief in you that can be the missing ingredient to help you go far.

I can help you with your podcast, whether you have one already or you just know that’s what you’re being called to do.

Starting a podcast, podcast tips and podcasting for women in business are my favourites.

Hi, I’m Alison!

I’m a Brit living in New Zealand where I’m mum to a 12-year-old, passionate about podcasting, parkrun and pub quizzes.

I’m learning bagpipes and Gaelic to stay in touch with my Scottish culture and I love to eat ice cream.

Helping others to be seen for the amazing people they are fills my heart with joy, but so does an early night with a good book.
