pod bites: Raising Athletes with Kirsten Jones

“I like to say competence builds confidence. So at first you don't have any confidence so you feel like an imposter because you’re new, you're a beginner, but the more reps you do, the more you feel strongly about it and the less bothered you are about it cutting out or whatever, you know, whatever thing might happen as it does.

And the more you just kind of get on with it and let it go.

And then I feel like it kind of takes on a life of its own. It's now really just fun.”

Our featured podcast host in this episode is Kirsten Jones, host of Raising Athletes.

In this episode Kirsten talks about how starting a podcast is similar to training for sport and about her new book, Raising Empowered Athletes.
