Loch Ness Monster Fan Club's Paige Daley

“If you're in Scotland, I'd start your 24 hours in Inverness, which is the biggest city next, located next to Loch Ness.

So you can go to Inverness, see River Ness, which runs from Loch Ness so you're starting your Nessie searches early on.

And then I would move over to Loch Ness, but I would go to Dores Beach.

You might not be in quite with getting a chance of seeing Nessie, but what you do get is a spectacular view down Loch Ness.

At Dores Beach, there is a little coffee van called The Spot at Dores Beach, probably got the best view going.

And they make amazing cookies. And you start your day there, get coffee, get a cookie. Start looking down the loch, and then I would just spend the day getting around Loch Ness.

Go down to Drumnadrochit, immerse yourself in the history of the Loch Ness monster, really start learning whether or not you believe the mystery, or what do you think the mystery could be.

Go to Urquhart Castle and see that site, see the ruin that's there, learn the history of Urquhart Castle and of course do a bit of Nessie spotting at that time.

And probably finish up the day going down Port Augustus at the other end of Loch Ness and having a look back up Loch Ness to where Dores Beach would have been at the other end to see if you could catch that last sighting of Nessie of the day.”
